Where can I check live travel disruption before a journey in Ireland?
Start with Transport for Ireland. Its service updates page and the TFI Live app carry live departures and disruption notices across Bus Eireann, Dublin Bus, Irish Rail and the Luas, and our own travel notices page gathers the Ireland-wide picture. For one operator, go direct: Irish Rail posts line works and replacement buses, Bus Eireann posts route level cancellations, and Translink covers Northern Ireland, where Transport for Ireland does not apply. Add Met Eireann warnings in bad weather, because an orange wind warning closes exposed roads and cancels ferries before operators post anything. Check the night before for planned works, and again on the morning of travel.
