Where are the best photo spots in County Kildare, and when is the light right?
The top of Kildare's round tower on a clear morning, with the whole town and the Curragh laid out below. The Japanese Gardens in spring blossom or autumn colour, ideally in soft light before the crowds. The Curragh at dawn, when strings of racehorses cross the plain and the light is low. Robertstown's canal basin, barges reflected in still water. The Leinster Aqueduct at Sallins, where the Grand Canal crosses high over the Liffey. Moone's high cross under its shelter, all carved apostles and Daniel among the lions. And the long front of Castletown across its parkland, best from the river side in the evening.
