What is Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park, and who is it for?

Lullymore is a family day out built on the edge of the Bog of Allen, near Rathangan: 60 acres of parkland with a peatlands exhibition that explains the bog honestly, a boardwalk out over it, a road train, a pet farm, crazy golf and a big indoor play barn for wet days. It opened in 1993 and it is squarely aimed at children under about ten and the adults who bring them, though the bog story lands with anyone. Allow half a day, longer with small children. It is about an hour's drive from Dublin and you need a car: there is no useful public transport to the gate.
