How many days do I need in County Galway?
Four days is the comfortable answer: one for the city, one for Connemara's Clifden and Kylemore side, one for the Aran Islands, and one spare for the weather, because Galway plans bend around Atlantic forecasts more than most counties. Three days works if Connemara becomes one long, early day and the islands get a calm morning. Two days means choosing between the islands and Connemara, and we would keep Connemara and promise the islands a return trip. A single day from Dublin covers the city and little else, and you will spend a fair part of it on the motorway getting there and back.
