How many days do I need in County Cork?
Four days is the floor, and Cork punishes people who allow less: it is Ireland's largest county, and the drive from the city to Mizen Head alone is two hours each way. One day for the city, one for the harbour and Cobh, and two for West Cork with a night down there, not commuting. A week still leaves the Blackwater valley and the east of the county unseen, and regulars would say that is about right: Cork is a county people return to rather than finish. Two days gets you the city and a taster, and you should know that is what it is.
