How many days do I need in County Armagh?
One full day covers Armagh city and Navan Fort properly, and that is most of what people come for. Add a second day if you are walking Slieve Gullion or driving the Ring of Gullion, which is the county's best scenery and sits a half hour south. Armagh is a compact county and does not punish a short visit the way Donegal or Cork do. It also pairs naturally: many people give it a day and a half inside a Belfast and County Down trip, sleeping in the city one night for an evening in Ireland's ecclesiastical capital, then moving on.
