How do I build a food focused route from Kinsale to Galway?
Eat your way north in short stages and book the dinners before the beds. Start with two nights in Kinsale, where the harbour restaurants fill early, then a night in Cork city for the English Market, trading since 1788, and a proper market morning. Move up through Adare or Limerick for a pub lunch stop rather than another full food town, then give Ennis a night for the music and Clare produce. Finish with two nights in Galway: the market, the Latin Quarter restaurants and a day out to Connemara for smoked fish and lamb country. Our Foodie trip type in the planner follows this Kinsale to Galway line and keeps the driving near three hours a day.
