Is there a museum of Irish emigration in Dublin?
Yes: EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, in the vaults of the CHQ Building on Custom House Quay in Dublin's Docklands. It opened in 2016 and tells the story of the ten million people who left Ireland, and of what they did in the countries they landed in, through interactive galleries rather than glass cases. It was voted Europe's Leading Tourist Attraction at the World Travel Awards in 2019, 2020 and 2021. It sits well at the start of a roots trip: an hour there frames the records you will spend the rest of the trip reading.
